2013 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Aromatics of light red fruit, wild strawberry and dried cranberries, sage, bayberry and white pepper wrapped up in toasted bread and cracked vanilla bean. Savory mouthfeel, with fine-grained mid pallate tannnis and linginering sensation earthy sweetness.
The 2013 vintage was challenging. The growing season went well until the last 10 days when 6 inches of rain fell. With excellent vineyard sources we were able to make a great wine in a challenging year. 100% – Pinot Noir. 35% from Trout Lilly Ranch Old Vines Pommard, Chehalem AVA, 35% from Kelly Family Vineyard Pommard, Dundee Hills AVA and 30% from our Estate Vineyard Flanerie Wädenswill and 667, Ribbon Ride AVA
Aged in 30% New French Oak for 18 months
