2016 Cuvée Constantin Pinot Noir

Our Cuvée Constatin is a nod to the original Flâneur. When renowned poet Charles Baudelaire first wrote about the Flâneur, the connoisseur of modern life, Constantin Guys was his inspiration. Constantin was a stroller, observer and painter of the crowds in the streets of Paris in the mid-19th century.
Truly a snap shot of our red wine production in 2016. This wine is comprised of almost equal parts of our two estate vineyards and shows off a whole cluster character - one element we love to incorporate in various wines for different reasons. Both fruit forward and savory, this concentrated wine has elegant tannins, firm acidity, and a supple texture that frames the dark berry, plum, earth, and spice character. Delicious any time of year, this wine is a particularly good pairing for the Thanksgiving table.
