Many of you will remember we didn't make this wine in 2017, meaning this is only the second vintage that we've been able to offer it to our club.  The 2016 sold out long ago (don't worry, we saved a *little* for library and future Bon Vivant Bashes), and though we're hopeful for a 2019 Bon Vivant, we decided not to make it or any other Pinot Noir in 2020, due to concerns regarding smoke taint.  All of this is to say, we are thrilled to release this wine to you and encourage you to stock up!  Just like in 2016, the theme behind this barrel selection is an exploration of whole cluster fermentation.  Its aromatics greet you with peppercorn, iodine, rosemary (herbs) and red currant, and potting soil, and the palate showcases incredible structure and depth, accentuated with rhubarb and blackberry flavors.  We know this wine will cellar, but it also tastes great right now when paired with duck, beef bourguignon... or your favorite burger!
