2018 Cuvée Constantin Pinot Noir
Cuvee Constantin is a nod to one of the great Flaneur. In his essay "The Painter of Modern Life", Charles Boudelaire writes of a journalist turned street painter, a fixture on the sprawling promenades of Paris: Constantin Guys. As Constantin would wander the streets, searching for inspiration, our winemaker, Grant, walks the cellar to put together this cuvee. Always a blend of the the two Estate Vineyards, Constantin looks to exploit some of the eccentricities of the vintage. This wine shows off how La Belle Promenade and Flanerie come together in perfect harmony, showing off both Marine Sedimentary and Volcanic soils. We hope you enjoy drinking this wine as much we have enjoyed crafting it.
