The Bon Vivant Sparkling Wine, as its name implies, is in a class by itself. Each year, this member-exclusive and extremely limited bottling is crafted from 100% Pinot Meunier from our La Belle Promenade Vineyard, making it a rather rare find. It is layered with lively acidity, texture, and complexity. Perfect for celebrations or cellaring.

Ratings
92 Points: "A pale straw hue, the 2019 Bon Vivant Sparkling Wine is made entirely of Pinot Meunier and shows off pretty aromas of white strawberries, cherry blossoms, croissant dough, and grapefruit. Medium-bodied, it also has a lively mousse and bright acidity, with a mouthwatering stony texture and a salty finish. It’s a very appealing sparkling with a lot of personality to enjoy over the coming 10 years. It saw 6 grams per liter dosage." - Jeb Dunnuck
Vineyard Notes
La Belle Promenade Vineyard, our treasured estate site in the Chehalem Mountains AVA, spans 40 acres of organically dry-farmed vines planted in 2014. Situated between 700 and 850 feet in elevation, its northeastern and southwestern exposures bring balance and unique character to our wines. The vineyard’s volcanic soils vary between a fractured basalt layer in the southwest and deep Saum soils in the southeast, adding complexity to each harvest. Planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Grüner Veltliner, Gamay Noir, and Aligoté, La Belle Promenade reflects the rich diversity of its terroir, yielding wines with vibrant floral notes, bright acidity, and a hint of the orchard fruits that once flourished here.
