This three varietal blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay is full of beauty and power. A fine and lacey mousse lifts a bright green apple tartness and zesty tangerine citrus with layers of wet stone minerality. Influence from Pinot Noir that makes up 47% of this cuvée gleans a liveliness that carries into a lengthy finish. Vineyard Source: La Belle Promenade Vineyard
La Belle Promenade Vineyard is located atop the Chehalem Mountains between 700 and 800 feet elevation with northeastern and southwestern exposures. Dry farmed using organic principles, La Belle Promenade is comprised of 40 acres of vines planted in 2014. The vineyard is home to volcanic soils ranging in diversity from a thick layer of fractured basalt in our shallow rooted southwestern blocks and deeper volcanic Saum soils in the southeastern corner of the vineyard. The crops we harvest from La Belle Promenade produce characteristic floral notes that cling to acidity and tell the story of the orchard fruits that once grew there.
