Tasting Notes
Aromas sing of boysenberry and bramble with fresh thyme and star anise. High toned flavors of cherry, raspberry, and cranberry offer balance to the savory leather and earthy black tea. Youthful acidity and soft tannins coat the palate and lingers for a long finish.
Ratings
93 Points, Wine Advocate | "The 2019 Pinot Noir Revelry is impressive. It opens with detailed scents of cranberry, raspberry, earth, tobacco and an array of spicy accents. It's effortlessly structured, perfumed and juicy, with latent nuances waiting to burst from its youthful fruit. It will benefit from 2-3 or more years in bottle." - Erin Brooks
Vineyard Notes
La Belle Promenade Vineyard, our treasured estate site in the Chehalem Mountains AVA, spans 40 acres of organically dry-farmed vines planted in 2014. Situated between 700 and 850 feet in elevation, its northeastern and southwestern exposures bring balance and unique character to our wines. The vineyard’s volcanic soils vary between a fractured basalt layer in the southwest and deep Saum soils in the southeast, adding complexity to each harvest. Planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Grüner Veltliner, Gamay Noir, and Aligoté, La Belle Promenade reflects the rich diversity of its terroir, yielding wines with vibrant floral notes, bright acidity, and a hint of the orchard fruits that once flourished here.
