The Bon Vivant Sparkling Wine, as its name implies, is in a class by itself. Each year, this member-exclusive and extremely limited bottling is crafted from 100% Pinot Meunier from our La Belle Promenade Vineyard, making it a rather rare find. It is layered with lively acidity, texture, and complexity. Perfect for celebrations or cellaring.

Tasting Notes
Vibrant acid and crisp fruits like cold strawberries and raspberry sorbet are hidden behind the soft cascades of bubbles. This rare bottling of 100% Pinot Meunier was aged 3.5 years in tirage and finished with a dosage of 6g/l achieving balance, elegance and finesse.
Ratings
93 Points: "Mixing savory and sweet, the 2019 Sparkling Wine Bon Vivant lifts from the glass with a blend of crushed green apple, sour melon, gingery spice and hazelnut. This is soothingly round and elegant in feel, with its plush wave of silken bubbles offset by a salty core of tart orchard fruits. A staining of minerality lingers along with hints of candied citrus as the 2019 tapers off incredibly long but also remarkably fresh. The Bon Vivant, a varietal Pinot Meunier, possesses a lovely balance that keeps me looking back to the glass for more. Disgorged: June 2023 " - Vinous
Production Notes
La Belle Promenade Vineyard, our treasured estate site in the Chehalem Mountains AVA, spans 40 acres of organically dry-farmed vines planted in 2014. Situated between 700 and 850 feet in elevation, its northeastern and southwestern exposures bring balance and unique character to our wines. The vineyard’s volcanic soils vary between a fractured basalt layer in the southwest and deep Saum soils in the southeast, adding complexity to each harvest. Planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Grüner Veltliner, Gamay Noir, and Aligoté, La Belle Promenade reflects the rich diversity of its terroir, yielding wines with vibrant floral notes, bright acidity, and a hint of the orchard fruits that once flourished here.
