The La Belle Promenade Pinot Meunier has been sought after by Flâneur fans since we started making it in 2017. Known for its important role as a blending variety in traditional Champagne, Meunier is just as delicious on its own as a still red wine. Grant’s playful approach to crafting this wine involves 100% whole cluster with a medley of carbonic and traditional fermentation techniques making it a playful spring red meant to be enjoyed in its youth.
Fragrant aromas of violets, green olive, sassafras root beer, red cherry, and pomegranate jump out of the glass. Fruit driven and playful flavors of dusty cherry, and pomegranate play with a more serious vein of herbs de provence, white pepper, soil, and mushroom. Textured with fine tannins and springy acidity lead to a long and bright finish. Serve slightly chilled.
