Ratings
94 Points, International Wine Report | "The stunning 2022 Esprit de Corps Pinot Noir pours a stunning medium neon ruby core with a light pink rim. Delicate aromas of red raspberries, black cherries, and dusty country road are welcome compliments to the dried violets, sweet clove, and touches of milk chocolate flavors that sit on the mid-palate. I loved the perfect levels of sweet tannins, combined with a mouthwatering backbone of acidity and a damp-earth finish. 2024-2034 (aug 2024)" - Jeremy Young
Vineyard Notes
Flânerie Vineyard; French for “Aimless or Idly Wandering. Flânerie Vineyard was established in 2003. The 10-acre site sits at 250’–350’ in elevation on the eastern slope of the Ribbon Ridge AVA. The east-to-west orientation of its rows maximizes sun exposure, promoting greater tannin structure in an already warmer microclimate. Despite this warmth, the site retains impressive acidity. Combined with its sedimentary soils, the terroir produces spicy and savory wines with structure, light red fruit character, and age-worthy potential. This site is dry farmed in house using organic farming practices.
