An ode to the walk of the flâneur, our Flânerie Vineyard spans 10 acres across the Ribbon Ridge AVA. Rooted in sedimentary soils since 2003, Flânerie’s warmer microclimate lends to spicy dark red fruit character for savory wines that are bold, like steady bass

Tasting Notes
The nose offers aromas of rose, cocoa powder, blackberry, and a touch of tar. On the palate, the wine presents a lovely, long finish with flavors of plum, dark cherries, cinnamon, and cranberry. Texturally this wine is pure joy to revisit sip after sip This wine can hold up to your favorite cuts of meat, but still be enjoyable with a simple pasta or aged cheese.
Ratings
93 Points, International Wine Report | "With a shimmering medium ruby-blue core with a light brick rim, the 2022 Flanerie Pinot Noir from Flaneur boasts yummy notes of Bing cherries, blueberries, a touch of rhubarb, sweet spices, and just a hint of dusty dried herbs. Grippy tannins, lemony acidity, and a earthy red-fruit-driven finish complete the wine. Better in 2025-2033 (aug 2024)" - Jeremy Young
Vineyard Notes
Flânerie Vineyard was established in 2003. The 10-acre site sits at 250’–350’ in elevation on the eastern slope of the Ribbon Ridge AVA. The east-to-west orientation of its rows maximizes sun exposure, promoting greater tannin structure in an already warmer microclimate. Despite this warmth, the site retains impressive acidity. Combined with its sedimentary soils, the terroir produces spicy and savory wines with structure, light red fruit character, and age-worthy potential. This site is dry farmed in house using organic farming practices.
