Bright and light on its feet, our very first La Belle Promenade Gamay is a love letter from the Chehalem Mountains to Beaujolais. This wine has a personality all its own—a true interpretation of the cultivar from our La Belle Promenade terroir. It is both spirited and profound, juicy and high-toned, with layers of vibrant red fruit and punctuated earthiness. Crafted with 100% whole clusters and partial carbonic maceration, it offers an intriguing balance of freshness and complexity.

Tasting Notes
Bright red fruit—juicy cherries and raspberries—takes center stage, complemented by earthy, savory notes. The 100% whole cluster fermentation and partial carbonic maceration create a playful balance of fruit and subtle tannins. Enjoy upon release for its exuberance or over the next two years. Try it slightly chilled. Only 40 cases produced. Drink 2024-2026.
Vineyard Notes
La Belle Promenade Vineyard, our treasured estate site in the Chehalem Mountains AVA, spans 40 acres of organically dry-farmed vines planted in 2014. Situated between 700 and 850 feet in elevation, its northeastern and southwestern exposures bring balance and unique character to our wines. The vineyard’s volcanic soils vary between a fractured basalt layer in the southwest and deep Saum soils in the southeast, adding complexity to each harvest. Planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Grüner Veltliner, Gamay Noir, and Aligoté, La Belle Promenade reflects the rich diversity of its terroir, yielding wines with vibrant floral notes, bright acidity, and a hint of the orchard fruits that once flourished here.
